The Scientific Coordination area is responsible for structuring, planning and development of the Clinica Morillas scientific, academic and social projections. It is also the bond between the Clinic and universities and scientific institutions with which we have agreements for teaching, research, postgraduate, academic cooperation and exchange.
- Graduate in Plastic Surgery
Clinica Morillas is a Plastic Surgery teaching headquarters, through the agreements with Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and Universidad Nacional de Trujillo.
Residents receive comprehensive training and the possibility of internships in prestigious specialty services both in Peru and abroad. At the end of their training, residents are active members of the Association of Former Students of Professor Cesar Morillas and according to its statutes they can therefore apply for a membership of the Association of Former Students of Professor Ivo Pitanguy.
Residents of other national and foreign offices can apply for an internship by requesting it to the Medical Directorate. During this internship they must meet both attendance and the academic program.
- Library
The library of Clinica Morillas provides the medical community with access to current journals, the latest specialty books, and an online subscription. Registration in the library is a prerequisite.
- Audiovisual
The audiovisual department is responsible for the registration of scientific activities carried out at Clinica Morillas. It is essential for the presentations of staff physicians in scientific events.
The video library contains information on conferences, courses and surgical demonstrations.
- Publications and scientific events
Is the area responsible for the publication of the Clinica Morillas Journal of Plastic Surgery, and of coordinating the presentation of scientific papers in conferences and specialized publications. It coordinates the scientific events organized by the clinic.
- Professor Cesar Morillas Alumni Association (AEPCMO)
The AEPCMO was founded in September 2000, comprised initially of 18 members. Today it is composed of specialists who have undergone their training in Plastic Surgery under the tutelage of Professor Cesar Morillas. Its main objective is to maintain the school’s scientific level and the constant updating of its members.
