The medical staff at Clinica Morillas has received the highest training at the scientific school created by Professor Cesar Morillas MD who specialized in Plastic Surgery at the faculty of Ivo Pitanguy, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since he returned to Peru he started his professional practice, demonstrating a high level of preparation and sharing his knowledge with other doctors, which eventually transformed into a Plastic Surgery school that over the years has grown in prestige both in Peru and abroad.

The medical staff’s constant innovation in surgical techniques keeps the institution in the vanguard of specialized centers worldwide. Consequently, Professor Cesar Morillas and his staff members have been speakers in various events specialized in Plastic Surgery abroad, such as the course with live demonstrations about gluteus (buttocks) augmentation performed in Saint Petersburg, in June 2010, where a new design of buttock implants was presented to the medical community.
Clinica Morillas has published the first book of the specialization in Peru on “Aesthetic surgery of the neck and face” written by staff doctors and with the additional contribution of prestigious foreign surgeons such as Professor Ivo Pitanguy, Professor Pierre Fournier, a pioneer in liposuction procedures, Professor Jose Juri who is well-known for his scalp reconstruction techniques and secondary correction of the nose, and Professor Carlos Alcala, expert on functional surgery of the nose.
Clinica Morillas has a constant scientific activity, carrying out numerous international scientific conferences, symposiums and courses that enable the visit of different experts on the field. A visible reminder of this are the handprints they left during their visits, exposed for all visitors to see at the entrance hall of the facilities.
